Biometric ID verification seems to be approaching a tipping point.
That is not just because Digital Insight made public today that it has adopted EyeVerify’s Eyeprint ID v2.0 for its mobile banking platform. It just seems that biometric ID verification and security seems to be the hot thing.
USAA’s most recent app update, for example, features both facial and voice recognition. It appears selfies may have helped overcome the weirdness of staring at your own face on your smartphone to log into your account.
